Prosestim was founded with the vision of building an engineering and manufacturing center that would reduce Türkiye’s dependence on imported industrial filtration. Our production capacity, which has grown over the years, directly reflects our field experience in fluid and filtration engineering.

The first industrial filtration production under the "Made in Türkiye" label began in Yalova.

Our founder, Doğan Gürbüz, was born in Istanbul. In 1975 he graduated from the Chemical Engineering department of the İ.D.M.M.A. Galatasaray Faculty of Engineering (today’s Yıldız Technical University).
After starting his career, he completed the 48th-term Business Administration Program at the Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration.
During his student years he was involved in music and scouting. He is an accomplished guitarist, founded the Yavuz Scout Group affiliated with the Turkish Scouting Federation (1970), and holds the international Wood Badge in scouting. He is married with two children.
He began his professional career in 1977, after completing his military service as a reserve officer, as a Shift Engineer at AYSAN Ağaç Yağları Sanayi A.Ş., part of the Marshall paint group. In October 1977 he joined AKSA Akrilik Kimya Sanayi A.Ş., where he held the following positions:
As an additional duty, from 1983 to 2000 he served as Start-up Director, responsible for commissioning newly built units, equipment and installations across the plant, resolving their issues and handing them over to the operating departments.
At Aksa, the world’s largest acrylic fibre plant under a single roof, he is one of the people with experience at every stage of the process and the most complete knowledge of it as a whole, with in-depth expertise in acrylic fibre and polymer production processes and all related main and auxiliary processes.
Through these roles he gained extensive experience in chemical and mechanical processes, utilities, start-up operations, solving production and process problems, energy saving, cost reduction, productivity improvement and operations management. During his career he served as leader and member of numerous teams for problem solving, cost reduction, savings and productivity improvement, and for implementing ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and ISPS Code systems, and he ran independent projects.

After retiring in January 2005, he founded PROSES Ticaret, İmalat, Mühendislik and continues his work there.
90% of the machines on our production line were designed in-house by Prosestim’s own engineers. Equipped with PLC control units, our autonomous systems deliver micron-level precision.

In addition to our ISO 9001:2015 and GOST-R certifications, the filters we manufacture carry international barcodes, are registered in ÜTS (Product Tracking System), are CE marked and are approved by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Türkiye. With WQA membership, Halal Certification and a Domestic Product Certificate, we manufacture to international standards for every critical process, from heavy industry to the food and pharmaceutical sectors.
